Installation and Maintenance Notes
- Park the truck on level ground, apply the parking brake, switch off the engine and drain the air tanks according to the service manual.
- Locate the air dryer, and remove the old cartridge with a suitable filter wrench.
- Check that the old gasket came off with the cartridge. A leftover gasket can cause air leaks.
- Clean the mounting surface, and lightly oil the gasket of the new AD27750 air dryer cartridge.
- Spin the new cartridge on by hand until the gasket touches, then tighten as specified by the air dryer manufacturer.
- Build up air pressure, and check for air leaks around the cartridge.
